Passion Performance

The year 1963 was a turning point in Easter celebrations in Carratraca. In the past, the performance associated with the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ used to be a procession carrying a Virgen Dolorosa and a Cristo Crucificado. The procession is still held, but now, after 1963, they also have a live performance of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus.
