Hyla Educación Ambiental is located in Cardeña, in the region of El Valle de Los Pedroches, one of the most beautiful and attractive areas in the province of Córdoba. The extraordinary geographical location is ideal for activities in the Sierra de Cardeña-Montoro and Sierra de Andújar Nature Reserves, as well as the nearby Valle de Alcudia, the Sierra Madrona and Las Dehesas de Los Pedroches.

Hyla Educación Ambiental organises activities geared towards the sustainable development of the surrounding area. They raise awareness of the enormous ecological wealth of these protected natural areas, their resources, the associated way of life, the environmental problems and solutions as more sustainable alternatives, whilst each activity provides room for both thought and enjoyment.

The numerous activities organised by Hyla Educación Ambiental include active tourism: hiking, archery, birdwatching, canoeing, climbing, etc. seasonal tourism: deer rutting, pig slaughter, mycology, etc. Entertainment: gymkhanas, rural Olympics, etc. and cultural tourism: dramatised tours, star-gazing, locations for the film "Among Wolves", etc.
