Cooperativa Andaluza San Roque
Cooperativa Andaluza San Roque is in Carchelejo, a neighbourhood in the Jaen town of Cárcheles, the winery has insulation, ventilation, lighting and suitable heating systems. The tanks and pipes are all made from stainless steel.
At Cooperativa Andaluza San Roque, the oils, which come from different quality olive trees, are stored separately in the bodega. There are a total of 24 tanks with sample taps and purge systems to remove humidity and impurities, which together make up 1,084,500 Kgs for storing virgin olive oil.
At Cooperativa Andaluza San Roque, once the tanks have been filled, they are chemically and organoleptically analyzed by both an external laboratory and by the laboratory of the Regulating Council of the Designation of Origin "Sierra Mágina" , which follows the UNE 17,025 quality standard, and which, according to its Regulation, decides which oils can be Classified and packaged as Designation of Origin, which are sealed and controlled by the Regulatory Council.
Monday to Friday from 9 am. to 2 pm. and from 4 to 6 pm.
