Los Muertos
This is a small kiosk located in the area near the Punta de los Muertos viewing point, offering views of the beautiful coastline in this nature area. It is also an obligatory stop for visitors wishing to pick up all the information necessary for their visit to the Cabo de Gata-Níjar nature reserve.
From here you can also access a bridle path which leads to the spectacular Los Muertos beach.

Nearby you can stroll along the old railway line, now the Vía Verde de Lucainena, which served as a means of transport for iron from the mines of Lucainena de las Torres to the wharf of Agua Amarga. Today it has been converted into a green route for used by visitors and locals. The presence of a magnificent example of an ancient olive tree is another attraction of this route.
