Observatorio Astronómico de Capilerilla

The extremely low levels of light contamination in the skies of our region was the reason why a Swedish institute installed the Capilerilla Astronomy Observatory in La Tahá
It's located 1400 metres above sea level and its sponsors have given it a teaching role, in addition to being purely scientific, with three telescopes for public use. We would like to invite you to enjoy the privileged location in Capilerilla, from where you can clearly see the moon and stars in the Alpujarra sky.
The astronomy observatory regularly schedules family activities.
