Bodegas Vilaplana

We always pick by hand, selecting the grapes out in the vineyard and transporting them in 12kg boxes to the wine-cellar where they undergo secondary control on the selection table. The bunches are destemmed and the grapes are gently pressed before or after fermentation, depending on the type of wine we are making. In the lowest part of the cellar, the wine ages in 300-litre barrels of a number of different cooperages. The finished wines are filtered gently and then bottled manually. 

The guided tour includes a stroll through the vineyards during which explanations will be given about the different varieties of local grapes, our traditional processes and the organic cultivation of vines. Learn all about producing wine in a wine cellar. An finish by tasting wines accompanied by a tapa made of local, seasonal products

Tasting of 2 wines: Diez Días de Marzo White Wine Paraje del Mincal Red Wine Aperitif with local, seasonal tapas

A more extensive visit, with more detailed explanations of the vineyard and the processes in the wine cellar. Tasting of 4 wines: Dos Flamingos Rosé Wine Diez días de Marzo White Wine Zimbra Red Wine Paraje del Mincal Red Wine Paired with an assortment of local tapas and seasonal products
