Trujal de Mágina
Trujal de Mágina is located in the province of Jaén, in the town of Cambil, where the system of producing olive oil at a low temperature and the type of process used produces olive oil of the highest quality.
Trujal de Mágina, after fifteen years of production, has been designated in the Designation of Origin as the first oil mill to produce organic extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality, with 95% of the production being classified at this level. Every single year they won some of the prizes awarded by the D.O. for quality, such as the "Alcuza" prize (for the best drum of oil) and the”Lechuza” prize (for the best cellar).
In 2009 they were also awarded the "Pregonero" prize (for the cooperative that sold most olive oil), and in 2006 they won the prize awarded by the Regional Government of Andalusia for Sustainable Development for the work they undertook in the Sierra Mágina Mature Reserve.
Winter: From Monday through Friday from 8 am. to 2 pm. and from 4 to 6 pm. Summer: From Monday through Friday from 7:30 am. to 2:30 pm.
