TheChapel of the Virgen de la Peña is architecturally interesting and built of stone in about 1548.
A frontal view from the outside will show you a belfry inserted into a small tower on the right-hand side. At the end of the stairway that leads to the entrance to the chapel, on the right-hand side, there is a small rock crowned by a Christ in white.
On the main façade there is an entrance with a large circular doorway, on the upper part of which the name of the Chapel can be seen, and little further up there is a mural in tiles with an image of the virgin. On the roof there is a cross with a weather vane. Inside, at the front, there is an image of the Virgen de la Peña flanked by two images of angels and there is a small altar covered with red flowers. There are altar candles to the left and to the right. Finally, at the entrance there are six pews where people can pray.
