Plaza de España
It is one of the most important squares of the city.
Plaza de España is the result of an extension to the Plazuela del Carbón, carried out after the demolition of the city wall, to commemorate the centenary of the 1812 Constitution and the French site of the city.
Located near the port, this square hosts unique buildings, as the House of the Four Towers, the Customs building (now headquarters of the Provincial Council) and the Monument to the Constitution of 1812, erected in 1912.
