La Marea
Boasting a prime location on Cádiz promenade and surrounded by three large public car parks, La Marea is one of the top restaurants in the entire province of Cadiz. It is a very pleasant, simple establishment steeped in culinary tradition. Despite its large terrace with views of the spectacular Playa La Victoria de Cádiz beach, many still prefer to enjoy its seafood-based cuisine around the unique bar, making it a traditional meeting point for locals and visitors alike at any time of the year.
The seafood served directly from its showcase tanks, locally caught fish, speciality rice dishes, tuna, salt-baked fish, sea bream à la roteña, seafood platters made to order, assorted fried fish,… all accompanied by their ice-cold draught beer or the finest Denomination of Origin wines from all over Spain, but especially local wines, are just some of their specialities.
This restaurant specialises mainly in rice dishes, but there is also a good selection of fresh fish and seafood. We should point out that every year, starting in April, they hold regular "Wild Red Almadraba Tuna Days". This fish delicacy is frozen at -60º, so it retains all its properties.
Every day of 1 to 5 pm. and 8 pm. to midnight.
