Poljé de la Nava de Cabra
In the Sierra de Cabra Mountains and in the heart of Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park is La Nava de Cabra Polje, a large sedimentary plain in the form of a closed valley surrounded by mountains, the origins of which are closely related to the dissolution of the limestone that comprises the mountain ranges here.
Situated in the municipal area of Cabra, La Nava is made up of clay materials that form a waterproof ground and enhance its flooding during the rainy season.. It is crossed by the small and seasonal Bailón River, one of the few water hazards in the area, which drains it, forming topography of great interest near the village of Zuheros.
La Nava Polje forms a part of the Trail of the Ammonoids in Sierras Subbéticas Geopark.
La Nava Polje is a Reserve, meaning it can only be crossed using the public trail, "Río Bailón
