Burguillos
Small municipality located at the foot of the mountains, in the valley along the right bank of the Guadalquivir river, in the midst of a landscape of fertile fields and vegetable gardens.
History
Its name comes from the word "burgo", which means village or town.
Remains of Roman origin have been found in the area, although the village itself dates back to the Middle Ages.
Remains from the period of Al-Andalus have not been found. The mudejar parish church dates back to the time of the Christian conquest.
