Carnaval de Bornos

Carnival has been and continues to be the most important and deep-rooted celebration in Bornos during which its people are the main protagonists.

Its distinctive features arise from the widespread use of costumes and masks, in addition to the street presence of different groups: chirigotas, troupes, romanceros, charangas and murgas. One of the most magical moments of the Bornos Carnival is the Domingo de Piñata Procession.

Bornos Carnival has been declared an Andalusian Event of Tourist Interest.
