Casa Rural El Batán de Lara

On the river-side of Majaceite River, deep in the center of Natural Park of Grazalema, and in the outskerts of the village of Benamahoma (Cádiz), El Batán de Lara is placed.

The main house is placed in a 15.000 m2 property in which a good garden market and orchard is near the house. It have also got a henhouse, with hens, cocks and so on.

This building was long time ago a Batán, which in Spanish means mill (molino de agua) in which wool was laboured. They used it to make blankets, and bed-coved. Now it is rebuilt, but they had been very careful with preserving any old material, style or construction. The result is a very nice and cosy country house in which you could enjoy nature and spend some pacefully days.
