Bodega Pago de Almaraes
Benalúa (Granada). Bodega Pago de Almaraes is a young winery which catches the witness of several years of research, the curious ripening of red wines in the Andalusia Mountains.
Vineyards are at very high altitude on the Sea level (from 900 m up to 1.600 m), with a very dry continental climate affected by changes of temperature during day and night. This contrast encourages a gentle aromatic maturation and also a slow polyphenol maturation and timing escalated, thus it is obtaining wines of great complexity.
The winery Pago de Almaraes is in the heart of the region of Guadix, Pago de Almaraes has been designed to have a bearing on the personal conception in the design and the polychrome of the nature that surrounds the region.
In Pago de Almaraes, you would learn the history of the wine from the Phoenicians until today, at the same time that you will see the process of elaboration of our wines (the barrels cellar, bottling, tanks...).
