La Perla
Located in the most typical streets of Benalmádena, Restaurante La Perla is a classic in the town. It's sure to impress you as it almost always is surprising and delightfully so; there is not only quality in its cuisine, but also in the dining room, the staff and every detail of the premises.
It has a large, spacious and comfortable dining room, where the little details, such as the tablecloths, the seats and the cutlery reveal its high category.
Although the menu of La Perla is extensive with excellent dishes, its talent truly unfolds in the area of sauces: its delicate, fine hollandaise, besides its Pedro Ximénez sauce, which are usually included with its meats. Highlights in this regard are its salted fillet of beef and the aged fillet with duck liver gratin and Pedro Ximénez sweet wine sauce. Other superb dishes are the queso fresco timbal, duck liver and caramelised apple or the fillet of sea bass stuffed with tiger prawns with a white wine sauce.
The desserts are delicious: all home-made and subtle. Regarding its wine list, La Perla has 150 labels from any Designation of Origin on the market.
