Taberna Marinera

The Taberna Marinera “Pepi y Juan” is a gastronomic focal point in the Puerto Deportivo de Benalmádena. This establishment symbolises the spirit of Mediterranean cuisine at its best.

Pepi and Juan have been running their tavern for more than 20 years. When the Yacht Marina opened, they transferred their know-how to delightful premises located within this complex. This resulted in their prestige spreading even further. Right opposite the Playa de Malapesquera beach and the Captaincy General of the Port.

In addition to an abundant selection of fish dishes - baked, butterfly-grilled and salt-baked -, the Taberna Marinera serves such classics as cod a la vizcaína, stuffed red peppers and delicious desserts. Rice dishes are its speciality, the best on the coast: seafood paella, black rice, with lobster, monkfish and vegetables, with steak and stuffed peppers, "fideuá a la Valenciana" (paella with noodles instead of rice), and house specialities such as rice “rebolcao “, “humillante” and rice with leeks, green pepper, sausage, bacon and Serrano ham.

A good wine list featuring Navarra rosé wines and Condado de Huelva white wines.
