The Cortijo de Cortes, located in Benahavís (Malaga), is much more than a unique space. If you are looking for a charming and traditional place to celebrate a gala dinner, a conference, a business meeting or your wedding, this is the perfect space. We also offer catering services and comprehensive event planning advisory services, with only your imagination as the limit.

The Cortijo de Cortes stands with its towers and courtyards in the heart of the "Golden Mile" of the Costa del Sol, just five minutes from Puerto Banús. Its location, surrounded by two golf courses in the exclusive Paraíso Alto residential area, is one of its many attractions. Acquired in 1979 by Fernando López Liñán and subsequently restored, it is built, like most Andalusian estates, around a central courtyard.

Among other activities on the estate, there are flamenco performances, shows by a bandolero group, a venenciador (traditional wine server), a ham cutter, a horse show, and a traditional bull-handling event known as a capea...

Orange Tree Patio

Named after the trees that were planted there in the past, it was created in Mazarie de Barra with a mosaic of stones in different colours. Its 500 square metres are perfect for enjoying an aperitif or dining on long summer nights. The murmur of its fountains, the scent of jasmine and dama de noche, the sunlight reflecting on the wine poured by the venenciador, the music, and the indigo-dyed façade adorned with the vibrant colors of geraniums – all come together to create a scene that feels like a true hallmark of an Andalusian town.

Main Hall

Banquet provision	400 persons

The main hall is located in the old stables and what was the courtyard of the farmhouse. It is completely renovated and equipped to comfortably accommodate 400 people. Every corner and every detail has been meticulously crafted. The décor, inspired by bullfighting motifs, is reflected in the glass, wood and design; the table settings offer a range of options to choose from; the number and professionalism of the staff attending to the diners; all complemented by the finest gastronomy.

Mr Liñán's Patio

Banquet provision	120 persons

This courtyard exudes a romantic and intimate spirit, a secluded interior patio full of charm made with the same materials as the central patio. It is also used for aperitif or to set up a covered marquee with capacity for 120 diners.

Kitchen

The kitchen of the farmhouse is located underneath the stables' main work area. Equipped and designed with every detail to ensure fast and efficient service.

Bullring

The presence of a charming bullring on the premises, with a capacity for 500 people, further enhances the leisure and entertainment options. Fun is guaranteed, and alongside the equestrian and bullfighting shows, the demonstration of the quintessential Andalusian art form – flamenco – is a must.

Teacher's Patio

The teacher's patio is located in the upper part of the farmhouse. Divided into two, its 400 m2 surround the bullring.

Prince's Hall

With a capacity for 100 people, this hall is adorned with fine woods, creating a true sense of tranquillity. The space is arranged around a large central fireplace, setting a cosy atmosphere where you can enjoy the finest cuisine and music.
