Museo de Artes Populares
A sample of the lifestyle and customs of Málaga in the 18th and 19th centuries. This 18th-century building used to be known as the Mesón de la Victoria.
The Benagalbón Museum of Popular Arts is located in the centre of Benagalbón in the province of Málaga, and was created in 1995 by popular initiative and sponsored by the Culture Department of the Rincón de la Victoria City Council, with the aim of conserving cultural roots and traditions.
This Museum is basically divided into two parts: one is a traditional peasant house (consisting of a living room, kitchen and bedroom) and the other for the traditional farm equipment and implements of this area.
It should be mentioned that almost all the existing pieces were donated by people from the municipality.
