Beas de Granada
The village of Beas de Granada, only a few kilometres away from the city of the Alhambra, forms a part of the Sierra de Huétor Natural Park, an area with medium ranged mountains and dense vegetation of holm and gall oak trees.
In the old part of town, one can visit the 16th Century Parish Church.
History
Old documental references locate it on the Roman roadway towards Acci, thus its name Veas (or Vía).
During the Nasrid rule, it was a farmland area well connected with the city of Granada.
