Close to the Sierra de Baza Nature Reserve, the vía verde runs through the rich and leafy valley of the district.
The Vía Verde de la Sierra de Baza runs from the old Baza railway station to the city limits of Caniles, and from the town centre of Baza towards Zújar, to the town's cemetery.
Baza stands out thanks to its Historical Monumental Site, catalogued as Cultural Interest, the Archaeological Museum of Baza, where you can see important remains from the Iberian era, such as the Baza Warrior and a replica of the Lady of Baza, and the Alhóndiga, the Interpretation Centre of the Sites of Basti.
