Museo Arqueológico Baza
It was built at the beginning of the 16th century. It is the only proof in the province of a Renaissance town hall with a portico of semicircular arches, supported by Corinthian and Doric order columns. It stands out the beautiful Renaissance coffered ceiling and the heraldry of the façade.
Most of the works that make it up are of archaeological nature, but also there are objects from the recent past of Baza.
Currently, the museum has four permanent exhibition rooms structured in four great chronological-cultural periods: prehistory, Iberian period, Roman period and Medieval and modern period.
Also, it has another room for temporary exhibitions and other cultural activities.
The Information Tourist Office is in the same building.
