La Chanca is located in Polígono Industrial El Olivar next to La Breña and Marismas del Barbate Nature Reserve. Our 3,600+ m2 facilities have all the machinery and equipment needed to make all our products.
This equipment guarantees the quality of our products and helps the team of professionals to achieve a range of products of the highest quality. There are three lines of work, in which the raw material is transformed into Salted, Tinned and Smoked - Semi-preserved.
La Chanca products are the result of a long artisan tradition, where we combine expertise with technological and health advances. Exquisite tinned food such as traditionally-caught bluefin tuna, bullet tuna, mackerel fillets, tuna belly, tuna neck, tuna tenderloin with fried bread, diced tuna with garlic, etc. All this is achieved thanks to a team of professionals with extensive experience in the transformation of raw material into sensations and flavours. Without this valuable team, our project would not be possible.
As well as products, there is a Tuna Museum to tell visitors all about the ancient traditions around tuna in this part of the Cadiz coast: how it is caught and subsequently transformed.
