Situated in Barbate, the secret of El Campero lies in its delicious food, a thousand-year-old story of love and knowledge of tuna and the culmination of efforts and good work. A relaxed and unhurried way of understanding catering, in an unpretentious way, simple offering the best we have and doing it the best we can.
The cuisine at El Campero combines the most traditional dishes from Barbate, like tuna with onion and marinated tuna, with new techniques and avant-garde recipes. With its modern and traditional recipes, El Campero promotes simple cuisine that preserves the taste of the raw material, combines flavours and surprises guests.
El Campero is synonymous with the sea, light, tuna, the flavour of southern Andalusia, different from the rest of the world, a whitewashed fishing village, with the same fishermen who bring to the kitchen meagre, sole, sea bream, red bream… and, of course, bluefin tuna.
Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm to 4.30pm and 8pm to 11.45pm.
