La Bodega
The Restaurante La Bodega is in Baeza, five minutes from the centre. One of the city's most emblematic monuments is on this street: the ruins of San Francisco, the monument which gives its name to the street and you can see during your walk to the restaurant.
La Bodega is built in a house that is over a century old, now restored and decorated in rustic style with bare stone, the basis of building in the city.
The highlights of its menu are the Baeza stew, preserved pork loin, barbecued pork fillet, kid with garlic, "papas a lo pobre" (sautéed potatoes, garlic, onions and peppers), "serranitos" (rolls filled with a slice of pork, Serrano ham and a fried green pepper), pork loin "al infierno", stuffed potato balls and a large variety of rolls.
