Located in Baena, in the historic town centre, Mesón Casa del Monte is a beautiful restaurant occupying the historic building of Casa de la Tercia (1774). The restaurant specialises in Mediterranean cuisine with avant-garde touches.

Mesón Casa del Monte serves the typical cuisine of Baena with extra virgin olive oil as the main feature, without forgetting the produce from local market gardens. The menu includes the best meat and a its own selection of seafood from the Andalusian coast. Aubergines with salmorejo ((thick gazpacho made with bread)), cod au gratin with honey aioli and nuts and candied cod in olive oil with ratatouille are just a sample of the delights on offer.

The Mesón Casa del Monte also serves generous breakfasts accompanied by the renowned olive oil and, when the time for tapas arrives, the tempting selection will leave no one indifferent.
