Parque Ramón Santaella
The Ramón Santaella Park is located right in the centre of Baena, and although it is not very big, it is an ideal place to rest, take a stroll or enjoy a couple of beers, have lunch or dinner in one of the kiosks.
The pathways in the park are a blend of English and French styles, some are paved and others are of clay (so typical in Andalusia) and lawns with groves of trees distributed among them. In the centre there is an octagonal bandstand and a cast iron structure. On the east side there is a pergola with masonry columns with a wooden pergola, intertwined with wisteria, roses, cylinders, honeysuckle, etc.
The different levels on the eastern side have been converted into a stairway consisting of flower beds separated by low masonry walls.
There are also a number of fountains, a small children's playpark and benches distributed throughout the park.
