CONVENTO SANTO DOMINGO HOTEL-SCHOOL
Welcome to Convento Santo Domingo Hotel-School of Archidona, in the heart of Andalusia.
In our establishment, theory is combined from the start with hands-on learning at our own hotel, with guests coexisting with students at all times.
An ecosystem that perfectly combines the physical and virtual classroom environment.
Studying and visiting our Hotel-School, with its transformational training method, is quite an experience.
Head Chef, Maître d', Reception Manager, Hotel Manager and Teaching Specialisation.
The Hotel-School is located inside the old Convent of Santo Domingo, which used to be the oldest convent in the town and the only Renaissance-style building.
Founded by the Count of Ureña in 1531, with the aim of evangelising the population of Archidona, where many people were still Muslim.
The building has a central courtyard.
The convent's church has a single nave and the presbytery has a square floor plan, following the Gothic-Mudejar scheme widespread in the province of Malaga.
