Biography
The guitarist, Antonio Higuero, was born in Jerez de la Frontera in 1969 At the early age of 12 he started to take classes in the Academy of Manuel Lozano 'El Carbonero' and José Luis Balao, in the heart of the San Miguel district.
He first performed in the flamenco group 'España-Jerez', which as directed at the time by the famous guitarist Nano de Jerez Later, after performing as a guitar soloist in cultural salons and flamenco clubs, his true vocation was to begin as a guitarist accompanying flamenco singers and dance groups.
He has accompanied such important singers as Nano de Jerez, Rancapino, La Macanita, El Mono de Jerez, Juan Moneo, 'El Torta', and is currently in demand by figures like Fernando Terremoto, Ezequiel Benítez, and Antonio Reyes, whom he accompanied in his two Cordoba National Prize performances.
