Marmitia Parador de Antequera
Located in Antequera, Restaurante Marmitia Parador de Antequera serves excellent Mediterranean and traditional Andalusian cuisine, making extensive use of fresh produce from Antequera with a wide range of typical dishes, such as porra antequerana (cold tomato paste) and flat bread rolls called molletes.
Its big, bright dining room surrounded by large windows is the ideal setting for a perfect combination of produce from the countryside and mountains, from Malaga and fish and shellfish. A healthy and varied diet that is not lacking in virgin olive oil of excellent quality.
The menu features dishes such as puchero (chickpea and meat casserole), kid from the Sierra de Torcal and bienmesabe (dessert made with egg yolks and almonds). Other typical products from Antequera are their cold sausages, goat's cheese, preserves and paprika. The best thing to drink are wines from the province.
