The main-gate features a right-angled passageway. At its front is a large brick horseshoe arch with sunken moulding, creating the niches that were so typical of Nazari architecture. The internal layout of the tower was changed almost entirely when it was converted into a shrine. It has now been returned to its original state, although it still houses a small altarpiece and a painting of the Virgin of Espera.

The site can be visited at any time.
