This opened on 20 de August 1848.

As it was so hastily built, the wooden seats at the top rows remained in place until 1980, when the Town Council purchased the bullring and decided to carry out a complete renovation, both inside and out. Once all the work was finished, the appearance of the bullring was totally different from the original, and it is today one of the most attractive bullrings in the whole of Spain.

It also contains the Exposición Permanente de Arte Taurino.
