The church was consecrated in 1658. The interior has an extremely simple architectural style and is decorated with the traditional designs of the Capuchin order. Its layout is in the shape of a Latin cross.
The exterior underwent certain modifications in the last century. The doorway to the entrance hall, crowned with a niche containing the sculpture of Saint Francis in white limestone from El Torcal, dates from the original period.
Free entrance.
