Casa del Barón de Sabasona
This building, today the site of the Romero Robledo High School, belonged to the Tejada family, the Barons of Sabasona.
Its construction dates from the first third of the 18th century, and it is one of the most original examples of the typical "grid-façade" houses which are so characteristic of the city.
The façade is of brick except for the doorway, which has alternating slabs of black and white stone in an early example of the Mannerist style. The courtyard is among the most perfect examples of a typical Antequera Baroque courtyard.
