The Capuchin Mothers settled in the Old Capuchin Convent in Andújar, Jaén, in the year 1682.

It was initially under the patronage of the City Council, later passing to Juan Moreno Ponce de León.

When the Capuchin Mothers moved to their convent in Córdoba in 1982, all the sacred objects, relics, the church altarpiece and other artistic elements left the city.

The church, restored by the Escuela Taller, currently houses the Antonio González Orea Museum of Plastic Arts.

Tuesday to Friday from 18:00 pm. to 20:00 pm. Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am. to 13:00 pm.
