Biography
Ana Zamora Martín was born in Los Corrales (Seville) in 1951. However, she became a singer in Catalonia, where she emigrated when she was very young. She got trained in the flamenco peñas of Sabadell and Barcelona until she found her perfect way following Pepe Marchena.
She became one of the best performers of cantes de ida y vuelta of her time, though the artist preferred other genres like the song and the copla Lately, she has come back to her origins with several very orthodox records where she shows that her skill with the melisma has no comparison nowadays.
