Copusan
Copusan, since 1968 the year in which the Cooperativa Sindical Agro-Olivarera y Caja Rural Purísima-Santiago (Olive-growers' Cooperative, and Rural Savings Bank) came into being with the merger of two already existing cooperatives in Alozaina, has been steadily growing both in membership and production.
One single variety of olive –the Manzanilla Aloreña– is used in Copusan, it is of excellent quality and has its own personality and it is only cultivated in the valley and the headlands of the Guadalhorce river.
