Almuñécar Tourist Office
The Almuñécar Tourist Office is in a Neo-Arab style building inspired by the Moorish house-garden tradition. It was built in the mid-19th century, alongside a now disappeared sugar factory.
The decoration with tiled Moorish arches and plinths is eye-catching, as well as the decoration of the inner walls with interesting frescoes and honeycomb work. Its well-kept garden stands out with an abundance of cypresses and palm trees. Nowadays, it houses the Municipal Tourist Board of Almuñécar
The town of Almuñécar is known as a reference point for tourism and for its commitment to quality, as shown by its different certified private and public tourist resources.
Almuñécar combines the peacefulness of a village on the Mediterranean coast, which maintains its customs and traditions, with the cultural and leisure options of a tourist town.
