Parque Botánico El Majuelo

El Majuelo botanical park, situated at the foot of San Miguel Castle, right in the town centre of Almuñécar, is an important place for craft and leisure activities, with the auditorium designed by Urrengoechea.

At El Majuelo botanical park, there is a representation of flora from all of the tropical areas: Central and South America, Africa, Madagascar, China, India, Arabia, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia isles, Indonesia, New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia. 182 different plant species in total.
