Iglesia de la Asunción

The original church was built between the XV and XVI centuries, from which preserves a Mudejar-style chapel. It was rebuilt between the XVII and XVIII centuries, which brings the current image baroque.
The image of the Virgen del Rocío moved to this church every seven years. On August 19, the image is brought by the almonteños from its sanctuary in El Rocío, staying here for nine months and taking the road back eight days before the feast of Pentecost.
Access during hours of worship. Mass at 8 pm. daily.
