Iglesia Parroquial de Nuestra Señora de la Misericordia

Right in the centre of the village stands the parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Misericordia, with its elaborate Baroque doorways and an un-roofed nave. Only the Mudéjar coffering of its main chapel remains, recently restored.

Various parts –including the tower– were rebuilt at the end of the 17th century. The restoration work did not follow the original style and thus broke the harmony of the monument, although without detracting from its beauty.
