Puerto de Almería
The Port of Almería is on the Eastern edge of Andalusia, at the entrance of the Mediterranean, well positioned for re-positioning routes coming directly from the United Kingdom and also for the weekly routes of the west Mediterranean regions, reaching Gibraltar, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia. It has an intense fishing, industrial and passenger transport activity, in addition to being a stopover point for Mediterranean cruise ships.
Almería is a world of contrasts with undisturbed sandy beaches, deserts, snowy mountains, Moorish castles and a fortified cathedral, which is unique in its style. This medium-sized city is a joy to visit, with a very interesting history, but also surrounded by an amazing countryside and unique landscapes in Europe.
