Aire Ancient Baths Almería

Aire Ancient Bahts Almería is located in Almería, as its name implies. Muslims lived in Almería for eight hundred years and their customs have enriched our cultural and social heritage. They adopted the ancient tradition of Roman Baths, perfecting them to create a system of luxurious Public Baths that has been admired for generations.

The last Public Baths in Almería closed in the 15th century. Five centuries later, Aire Ancient Baths Almería brings them back for us.

In Plaza Vieja, in the very heart of the old city and on the site of an ancient Moorish market, we have faithfully restored an old "bañuelo" (Arab baths). Enjoy the tradition of Arab baths by immersing yourself in the warm water of the Tepidarium (36ºC), the hot water of the Caldarium (40ºC) and, finally, the cold water of the Frigidarium (16ºC).
