Plaza de la Catedral

This monumental square, presided over by the façade of the Cathedral-fortress, is an iconic feature of the historical town centre.
Its current appearance is the result of a recent remodelling by the architects A. Campos and M. Sánchez, creating a pavement of Macael White marble cobblestones that look like a carpet and with 24 palm trees following the geometric order of the buttresses on the side of the cathedral.
