Museo de Arte Espacio 2
Located in the city of Almeria, the Almeria Art Museum is next to a Neo-Mudéjar single-family home that was constructed in 1927 through a project by the architect, Guillermo Langle Rubio. It is aesthetically linked to the railway station and is housed in a building of post-modern style that was opened in 1998.
The museum is home to a permanent collection comprised of a total of 26 paintings, sculptures, drawings and recordings and 23 photographs of Almerian art developed between 1980 and the present day.
Furthermore, it organises temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists, but sometimes it also includes works by great figures from the history of art.
