Building constructed in 1553 in renaissance style. Its enormous tower 55 m high is Romanic and its beautiful doorway is in plateresque style.

The temple was declared a Historic-Artistic Moument of sixteenth century in 1931, has 2 covers, the principal, which opens onto the street Hernan Cortes and on which stands the church tower, and the lateral (viewed as the main for its architectural beauty), which has a beautiful Renaissance decor highlights where it is the monumental relief of Santiago Matamoros.
