Casa del Poeta José Ángel Valente

The House of the Poet José Ángel Valente is located in Almería on the street of the same name, near the Convento de Las Puras. The project for the restoration of the house was carried out with the aim of revealing his poetic work and making it a destination for pilgrims of literature, and to promote visits to the historic city centre.

José Ángel Valente (Orense, 1929 - Geneva, 2000), poet, narrator, essayist, was one of the Spanish intellectuals of greatest renown during the second half of the 20th century.
