Huerta Grande

In the municipal district of Algeciras, the Huerta Grande Visitors Centre is the door to knowing the main natural and cultural attractions of the nature parks Del Estrecho and Los Alcornocales. The Centre not only offers information on these two spaces, but also details three natural areas: the Guadiaro, Los Lances and Palmones; a natural monument: Bolonia Dunes; and the Intercontinental Biosphere Reserve.

Huerta Grande is also a space for leisure, knowledge and culture, enjoying the senses, all through the resources available here. Here you may access information on hiking routes and other activities, and discover the values and traditional customs of the area.

It has a range of amenities and services, and the exhibition is accompanied by an excellent narration. Through the audiovisual materials you can access all the information on these natural surroundings and discover the main elements and values of the landscape and, why not, of one of the most fascinating manifestations of nature: migrations.
