The Port of Algeciras Bay is the maritime bridge between South Europe and the North of Africa and is located in the centre of Algeciras, an amazing setting of the Region of Campo de Gibraltar, with very important tourist resources, such as Natural park of Los Alcornocales and the Natural park of the Strait; next to the Golf Courses of international renown: Sotogrande, Valderrama, La Cañada and La Alcaidesa. Next to Tarifa and its famous beaches, we can find the historical Guzmán el Bueno Castle and the archaeology site Baelo Claudia.

It has the infrastructure for cruise ship traffic and a Sea Station for Passengers, which is fully automated, with check-in lounges for passengers travelling to Ceuta and Tangiers, cafeterias, duty free shops, left-luggage rooms, vehicle rental and telephones. In addition, there is a shopping gallery with travel agencies, bank branches, cafeterias, disembarking area, shipping company ticket offices and many services for passengers.

With a history of over one hundred years, the Port of Algeciras Bay is one of the top ten ports in Europe for its quality and the variety of port services offered. It has specialised facilities to handle the sea traffic carrying all types of goods and ships (in-bulk liquid and solid goods, passengers, vehicles, cruise ships and sports fishing, etc.).
