Mesón del Tío Tobas
Located in Alcudia de Guadix, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and on the natural plain of Hoya de Guadix, the Mesón Rural del Tío Tobas is a spectacular cave restaurant which is part of the Cuevas del Tío Tobas apartment complex. It specialises in typical local products such as beef of the Pajuna breed, native to the Sierra Nevada, and wines from the region (declared to be of excellent quality). All this, together with the renowned, unique Alcudia bread and Marquesado goat's cheese, go to make up a cuisine with a very special flavour.
Mesón del Tío Tobas serves a-la-carte, to take away, menu of the day, aperitifs and special lunches for groups. Their specialities feature casseroles, grilled meats, rice dishes, Andalusian fish, top-quality certified Granada products and salads made with ingredients from the Guadix region.
Mesón del Tío Tobas is both an excellent cafeteria-shop, a private dining room for families, groups of friends or companies, as well as a room for meetings, conferences and events.
